Sample Group Menus

Our staff can provide menus from traditional Rhode Island preparations, such as our Lobsterboil and Clamboil menus, to more sophisticated progressive dishes, such as our Grilled Lobster menu.  This isn’t all we do.  We can customize a menu to meet the needs of your guests, whether it’s finger sandwiches and salads for a small reception, seafood canapes and hors oeuvres for a cocktail party, or a full-scale five-course meal.  We’ve got the best VIEW in southern New England!  Why not combine that with the best SEAFOOD in southern New England for a successful event.  George’s is a great place for rehearsal dinners, corporate functions, reunions, birthday parties, holiday parties, motor coach tours, company outings and beach picnics on our own beach!

 

Traditional Lobsterboil

Rhode Island clam chowder (clear broth chowder) & clamcakes.

Garden salad tossed with our house-made white balsamic vinaigrette.

Main Course:  Steamed 1 1/4 pound lobster, (substitute 14 oz char-grilled rib eye).

Herbed red bliss potato, native sweet corn.

Coffee, tea, soda, or lemonade.

Fresh watermelon slice.

Rhode Island clam chowder (clear broth chowder) & clamcakes.

Garden salad tossed with our house-made white balsamic vinaigrette.

Main Course:  Steamed 1 1/4 pound lobster, (substitute 14 oz rib eye), local steamers, steamed native mussels, fresh cod fillet, sweet Italian sausage, herbed red bliss potatoes, native sweet corn, steamed Vidalia onions.

Coffee, tea, soda, or lemonade.

Fresh watermelon slice.

Lunch Menu 1

Rhode Island clam chowder (clear broth chowder) & clamcakes.

Main Course: Choice of:  1) Baked Day Boat Cod, with lemon, butter, white wine & seasoned breadcrumbs, 2) Roasted Chicken Breast with braised chorizo, onion, sweet peppers and asparagus.  3) Roasted Beets Salad – baby spinach, apples, candied pecans, feta cheese.

Potato, fresh seasonal veggies, rolls and butter.

Coffee, tea, soda, or lemonade.

Vanilla ice cream.

 

Lunch Menu 2

Choice of: Rhode Island clam chowder (clear broth chowder)

or garden salad with our house-made white balsamic vinaigrette & clamcakes.

Main Course: Choice of: 1) Baked Stuffed Flounder with shrimp and crabmeat stuffing

2) Seafood Pot Pie, (shrimp, scallops, scrod & roasted vegetables simmered in lobster sauce, baked in an oven baked bread bowl), 3) NY Sirloin Salad, (6 oz sirloin grilled to medium, spring greens, roasted red peppers, red onion, cucumbers, grape tomatoes and crumbled gorgonzola.

Potato, fresh seasonal veggies, rolls and butter.

Coffee, tea, soda, or lemonade.

House-made Indian pudding with vanilla bean ice cream.

 

 

Dinner Menu 1

Cup of Rhode Island Clam Chowder or a field greens garden salad with our house-made white balsamic vinaigrette.

Maine Course: Choice of: 1) Roasted Salmon, with lemon-caper butter sauce.

2) Chicken Margarita, roasted red peppers, prosciutto & fresh mozzarella.

3) Stuffed Eggplant with roasted vegetables, rice, ricotta and mozzarella cheeses.

Potato, fresh seasonal veggies, rolls and butter.

Coffee, tea, soda, or lemonade.

House made apple crisp with vanilla ice cream.

Dinner Menu 2

Clams Casino – bacon, roasted red peppers, onions, parmesan.

Field greens garden salad with our house-made white balsamic vinaigrette.

Main Course: Choice of: 1) Seafood Scampi – shrimp, calamari, scallops in scampi sauce, over fettuccini, with garlic toast. 2) Zesty Italian Chicken Kabobs with mushrooms, onions and peppers. 3) Oven Roasted Day Boat Cod, with fire roasted grape tomatoes and fresh basil.

Potato, fresh seasonal veggies, rolls & butter.

Fudge brownie sundae with vanilla ice cream.

Dinner Menu 3

Cup of creamy dill seafood chowder.

Grilled Oysters – garlic-lemon butter & parmesan cheese.

Main Course: Choice of: 1) Sesame Atlantic Salmon Roulades, ginger sauce.  2) 12 oz Bone-in Pork Chop, mango chutney.  3) Lobster Ravioli – chunks of fresh lobster, tomato cream sauce.

Potato, fresh seasonal veggies, rolls & butter.

Coffee, tea, soda, or lemonade.

Belgian chocolate mousse cake.

Dinner Menu 4

Cup of our signature lobster bisque and an award winning baked stuffed quahog.

Roasted Beets Salad – with gorgonzola, butternut squash, apples, walnuts, mango moscato vinaigrette.

Maine Course: Choice of:  1) Georges Signature Grilled Lobster, brushed with garlic-lemon butter, finished with shrimp & scallops.  2) Seafood Marinara – scallops, shrimp & mussels, tossed with mushrooms, red onions & roasted red peppers, marinara.  3) Char-Grilled 14 oz Rib Eye with bleu cheese & caramelized onions.  4) Grilled Local Mahi Mahi with cilantro-lime sauce, Thai sesame slaw.

Limoncello mascarpone cake with fresh berries.
